ROSARY CROSS COUNTRYCross Country is a team sport which competes during the fall season. The racing distance is three miles, normally in a park on dirt, grass, and asphalt. Our season begins in July with daily practices (six times/week) with our racing schedule starting when school begins in late August. We typically participate in seven or eight invitational races during the season. The team competes throughout Southern California in invitational races where team scoring is utilized.
The 2009 Season had Rosary finishing in 5th place in the competitive Trinity League as we were a young team and from the beginning of the season continued to improve in every invitational race. The culmination of our efforts resulted in us winning the apache Cross Country Invitational Meet in October. The team MVP was Ashley Younger as she finished as our number one runner in mot of the races that we competed in. Rosary had a very young team with only one Senior on Varsity. The outlook for the 2010 Season is great as we have six of our top seven runners returning!
Coach Thom Confer sees much talent with this year's squad, and is very much looking forward to this season. Click the "Results" tab for results from their recent meets!
