Rosary’s Spirit Program includes a Dance Team and a Cheer Squad. A clinic for all girls who wish to try-out for this program will be held in the month of May. A year-long commitment and dedication to the program is required since the girls cheer for Rosary Volleyball, Basketball, and other sports during the year. A select number of girls will also cheer for Servite Football and Basketball games. All team members will be involved in half-time performances for Servite Football games and the Homecoming pre-game and half-time shows. During practices for the games, the girls will be involved in conditioning, stunting, learning and choreographing sideline cheers and quarter half-time routines, and painting posters. Girls involved in competing will be required to attend vigorous practices focusing on choreography of the routine and technique. During the summer all girls participating in competitions are required to attend gymnastics (cheer) or studio (dance). Attendance at summer camp is also mandatory for all members and is held in the month of August. All students involved in the program must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0. Freshmen to Seniors are eligible to try-out for either squad.
