GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT SUMMER SCHOOL
SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED
Rosary High School in conjunction with Servite and Connelly High Schools are pleased to offer a more extensive list of course offerings. Classes will be available on both the Rosary and Servite campuses. Our summer curriculum will include:
- REMEDIAL CLASSES (For those who wish to improve a “D” OR “F” grade for college transcript purposes)
- ADVANCEMENT CLASSES (For those who wish to take a College Prep/Honors Geometry class or an Honors Biology class to advance to the next level of the subject or to be able to take an elective in the fall) These classes will be offered at Servite this summer (2010).
- ENRICHMENT CLASSES (For those who would like to take a class to be better prepared for school and/or life skills)
Summer School classes will be offered in the following sessions:
SESSION 1
June 21-July 7 (first semester classes)
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 12:40pm
All classes will be closed to new registrations for this session as of June 18th.

SESSION 2
July 8-July 23 (second semester classes)
Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 12:40pm
ADVANCEMENT CLASSES These classes will be held at Servite High School Please check with Servite for more information 714-774-7575 To register for classes offered at Servite High School click here.
REGISTRATION BEGINS IN APRIL. Registration forms will be available online. Watch for more information about dates and deadlines. Registration will continue up to the first day of classes, however, a $50.00 late fee will be incurred after the deadline.
TUITION
Tuition costs will vary by course offering. Registration will be available on line for credit card payments. If checks are used for registration please make the check payable to Rosary High School. If a student decides to drop a class, a 50% refund of the tuition will be made prior to the start of the session. NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE FIRST DAY OF SUMMER SCHOOL.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
Daily attendance is mandatory. The regular school year rules and regulations as stated in the "Parent-Student Handbook" apply. Please refer to this document for instructions regarding tardiness, absences, etc.
Attendance at each class is mandatory. A student who is absent must bring a written excuse from his parents explaining the cause of his absence. No student will be readmitted to class without a note. The written excuse is presented to the Main Office for a re-admit slip, and a record of absences will be kept by the teacher and Summer School Principal. Students absent more than one and a half (1 1/2) days per semester course (3 days total) will be denied credits.
If a student is ill or must miss school for some other legitimate reason, parents should telephone the school between 7:45 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. The summer school office number is (714) 879-6302. If a student will be vacationing and misses more than one school day, a note informing the school of the prolonged absence is necessary. Otherwise, the school will make every effort to contact the parents about the absences.
DRESS CODE
Students must dress neatly and cleanly. No hats, caps or shorts below the knees are allowed. Shoes or sandals are required at all times - no bare feet or flip flop type sandals. Shorts may be worn; however, they may only be Bermuda or walking short style. No short shorts are permitted. Casual dress is acceptable, but students’ clothing must be tasteful. Students not dressed appropriately will be sent home and marked as absent for the day.
DISCIPLINE POLICY
Students are expected to observe the rules of the regular school year. Skateboards are not permitted on campus.
