The Counseling Department reinforces the philosophy of Rosary High School by its commitment to recognizing each student as a unique individual and a person of faith. Growth opportunities and personal attention are provided to all students as they develop responsibility for their personal/academic choices.
To assist each student to be well-prepared for her academic future and for living a healthy, balanced life, the Counseling Department:
- evaluates each student's intellectual/academic achievements, makes proper class placement, provides academic guidance and follow through
- provides opportunities that enable students to set goals, establish priorities, and make informed decisions
- supports current curriculum and is aware of changing trends in curriculum
- offers personal counseling to motivate/encourage self-discovery
- actively advocates for each student's personal academic path
- respects the ethnic diversity among students
- inspires each student to refine her spiritual, intellectual, physical, and psychological dimensions toward wholeness
